Joining the Menagerie – FC2018

With a hectic 2017 in the distant past, its time to look towards the next year. No shortage of fun events related to gear, masks or costuming in general. For Stego, it has been quite a while since he has attended a convention, since 2017 did compel us to slow down and deal with any of the unpleasant challenges.

Stego will enjoy meeting with fellow scalies and fuzzies hanging out at Further Confusion 2018. Despite all the orders we are finishing up, he managed to finish a jackal just in time for the art show. It will come with some extra hookups for this year’s art show, which might appeal to those who like to add on gear.  Our mask offering is located in the FC 2018 Art Show, Table A4

Our JG 1.5 wont be alone on the table, as our table area will also offer some designs from Scaleworx. Taku Dragon has been working hard in the lab, perfecting his craft and has come up with some items special for the art show.  Squeaky sergals and rabbits can rejoice, knowing that there is a gasmask design just for them.

While enjoying ‘labcon’ on a weekend of my own, I am going to be working on more gallery updates. Been slowly working on some cleanup with the website galleries. Hope you have enjoyed what has been shared thus far, but we may tweet more in real time as the art show continues.

Once our dino has returned we will be working through the rest of the month on end-of-year stuff alongside finishing up our current orders. Wild Gasmasks will soon be changing gears and no shortage on things to begin this year with.

A Little More Availability

Stego here, with a small update on what has been going on around here.  Work has demanded a bit more hours out of me, and I have been (slowly) fighting a bit of a cold.  I took some family time for my brother’s birthday but now the weekend has come and its time to get back on it.  Processing of orders should go a bit faster now, including this weekend where I have shut myself up in the lab and wont come out until we can move items from MANUFACTURING into ASSEMBLY status.

For now, have some more available inventory….

Angled Hose Assembly –  Our assembly combines two black angled hoses with one of our black wyes. An army green canister is also included. These assemblies are designed for our masks which feature 2 ports on the side (horses and jackals).

Composite image showing Wildgasmasks' Angled Hose AssemblyWe dont always have these in stock but when we do, we want to let you guys know that we have them.  In this case, we have just one set, so please contact us if you are interested. (update: 10/5/2015: sorry, this item is no longer available)

Wild N Free Inventory – Of course, we still have some masks available for immediate shipment. An HG2 and KG1 is available, alongside our experimental “Wild Gasmask”.  This creation has been getting inquiries as this does feature a hood built into its modified shell and offers something different as far as encasement and airflow. We think this will become like the slipper that Cinderella wore, as it will be about finding the right fit (as well as aesthetic).

We hope you guys can continue being patient with us, while we continue to work towards bringing back some more sought-after creations.

The Road Trip to Further Confusion Begins

Greetings! This is Stego breaking in with an impromptu FC announcement.  We are currently packing the last of our luggage and getting ready for that driving trip up to the Bay Area.  One advantage of driving up there (vs. flying) is that we are able to pack more and pack other items that we like to leave away from the clumsy hands of the TSA.

Within our luggage, we will be bringing a “small lab” of tools with us.  This will allow us to address any simple repair jobs for people who have brought their masks to the convention.  We will also have a small selection of lenses for those who may want something different for their mask’s “eyes”.

Wildgasmasks is also in the artshow!  If you wish to get ahold of one of our standard masks, you can find these items in the art show : an HG2, a KG1, and a JG 1.5.  The art show begins at 10am on Friday.

We look forward to meeting our friends at this convention and having a great time.  meddle and I will be running around all convention long, so if you see us and need something, do not hesitate to flag us down.  For those on Twitter, you can also reach us through my public Twitter account (@stego_s_aurus_p).

Can’t wait!

Endangered Jackals / Angled Hose Set

Looks like our misfortunes with mold continue.  As of November, we found another irreversible breakage that we had to deal with.  In an equally unfortunate manner, our JG2 mold broke at the ears.  The breakage is definitely significant and, given the specifics of where it broke, its non-salvageable at this point.  So, with that, jackals have met the end of 2012 with tragedy.

I guess we cant say its fully end-game for these jackals.  Before the breakage of the JG1 had even happened, we were considering (and in the process of finding time) reviving the masks  with new versions of our molds.  Now, its become a must and we have no jackals to offer in the meantime.

Please note that, we still need BUSTS.  Read this post (if you havent already) and it may explain about what we are looking for specifically.  First order of business is these new JG 1.5 and JG 3.0 molds, but we still need a solution that will enable us to take hooded orders again.

In the meantime, we have one object of “new-ness” in the lab — a set of double hoses which uses an angled entry points instead of the usual hoses that we carry. This setup is designed for any of our double-port masks (including all our non-muzzle-mount HG1s and HG2s).   This set up is available for $80USD, and includes the pictured rubber cover for your wye hose.

Time continues to be fleeting and we shall be on holiday around 12/20/2012.  We will still be taking and handling orders, but at a slower pace.  So, for now, we work hard.  Morale continues to be good….

…our sanity on the other hand….
